LOVE STORY! it’s my biggest piece to date and my favorite. i was living in beautiful ojai, california when i made this and was in love and working my way through the newly announced pandemic. from my bedroom window, i would look out each afternoon and see the iconic “pink moment” where the late afternoon sun would hit the topa topa mountains at just the right angle, bathing everything in the most exquisite pink glaze. this piece is truly bursting with love—it’s about learning to love and know yourself just as deeply (or more so) than you love and know others. it’s also a love letter to ojai.
