where it all began! this piece will forever be my favorite. i was just starting to explore pointillism and was traveling between san diego, los angeles and ojai a lot, carrying this paper and my palette with me. this piece is all about capturing the unique light quality of all three places, blended together into one painting. it’s truly a work of love on paper and a love letter to southern california.
